Idea Couture is looking for a talented Graphic Designer to join our creative team and contribute to innovation and ideation sessions while also taking ideas and visualizing them to inspire and educate clients. As a part of our creative team, you will work closely with other disciplines to develop and improve the graphic design of our innovative web interfaces, document deliverables and visual presentation materials.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery of innovative creative solutions, providing guidance on implementation, production and branding standards.
• Interpret creative briefs and develop creative which best aligns with the client needs and brand standards
• Engage in conceptual brainstorming and ideation sessions, developing original creative content to help drive client engagement
• Collaborate with project teams to develop supporting assets and presentation materials including journey maps, sales tools, info-graphics, event themes and collateral and online assets, ensuring production is aligned to project goals
• Participate in collaborative meetings to review scope and understand creative design requests and needs
• Work with across cross-functional teams on a diverse set of projects

 

Required skills / Experience

• University Degree in Graphic Design preferred
• 4 years of graphic design experience with proven branding abilities
• Advertising agency industry experience considered a strong asset
• Experience and/or interest in interactive/ web design considered an asset
• Experience leading or mentoring a design team is a strong asset
• A strong understanding of design principles and methodologies
• A genuine interest in consumer needs and behaviour
• Excellent concept visualization skills including hand sketching and 2d drawings
• Proficient use of current and relevant design software.
• An impressive body of work.
