Description

Designer / Visual Communicator
We’re looking for someone who wants to help others translate ideas into action, through gorgeous, engaging and thoughtful design.
The successful candidate will have generated excellent quality print and digital content (3-5 years of solid graphic design experience), shown initiative to run with ideas, and is keen to explore new applications of their creative thinking.
What you’ll be doing:
Your time will focus on developing excellent experiences for participants of co-creation workshops that range from tactic development, strategic foresight to strategic planning.
Deliverables could include templates that guide creative thinking, service blue prints, customer journey maps, environmental graphics and compelling presentation decks. We may even end up developing video games that teach how the brain works, magazines that tell stories of the future and a workshop experience based on the ancient wonders of the world (we’ve done all these things in the past).
You will work collaboratively with a cross-functional team that includes designers, biomedical communicators and MBAs.
What we are looking for:
- An interest in applying broad creative thinking to help inspire and guide others to generate solutions
- Critical thinking, with a drive to question and look at the big picture
- Interest in growing in a role and initiative to take on responsibility when delivering high quality results
- A solid understanding of design process, with experience going from start to finish with a diversity of different ideas
- Detail oriented, and capable of making sure the “i’s” are dotted and “t’s” are crossed
- Solid writing skills, with an interest in storytelling
- Confident public speaker, curious to engage with diverse groups
Must haves:
- Adobe Suite as second nature
- The ability to squeeze magic from PowerPoint (sorry, clients make us use it)
- Experience getting last minute print jobs out the door with no mistakes
- Experience in getting ideas online (on mobile is a nice-to-have)
