The Studio Manager acts as a liaison between the Account team, digital team and Creative teams by supervising, coordinating, and ensuring the on-time and orderly flow of all aspects of creative resourcing.

 

Responsibilities:

Team Management

• Manages all members of Creative Services including art directors, graphic designers, copywriters and production artists
• Obtains and manages creative requests and studio resourcing

Process Management

• Keeps abreast of work in the Creative Department and follows up on due dates established for copy, layout, and art
• Provides input into estimated time for creative deliverables
• Manages schedules for the Creative Services team indicating the various project components scheduled
• Keep team informed on the current status of all jobs in progress via weekly status reports
• Supports creative team with external vendor communications and negotiations
• Manages freelance needs
• Communication with clients directly on small ad-hoc design requests
• Financial management of small ad-hoc requests and vendors
• Oversees asset library

Requirements:

• 6-8 years of Creative Services experience in an agency or marketing environment
• Excellent verbal, written and listening communication skills
• Design, print and digital experience required
• Proficiency in Adobe suite an asset
• Demonstrated competencies: attention to detail, flexibility, professional confidence, financial management; agency workflow process; team efficiency and client profitability; complex organization knowledge
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects/activities seamlessly within a fast paced setting
