» YOUR FIRST YEAR DELIVERABLES

• Your role will be to imagine, design and develop solutions with highly functional, innovative, ergonomic and technical innovations;
• Formulate and initiate projects that respond to users’ basic needs.

» YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in brainstorming & define problems to solve latent user needs;
• Initiate new product ideas, concepts, materials and creations;
• Bring ideation concepts to 3D models or prototypes validation;
• Work with engineering to track and evaluate performance specs in relation to specific needs and segments.

» YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial design, specialization in transportation design or automotive design;
• Relevant experience in the design and development of recreational vehicles, automobiles, motorcycles and/or complex products in a global environment;
• Fluency in French and English (spoken and written);
• Strong ability to communicate ideas by sketching as well as specialized knowledge of 2D and 3D design software;
• Good understanding of the international transportation market, the design trends and  the assembly systems and manufacturing processes.

» ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

• Ability to travel
• Annual salary from 55 000$ to 70 000$, based on experience, and reviewed on performance;
• Eligible to the collective profit-sharing plan and the corporate benefits program for professionals;
• All candidate must submit their portfolio;
• This position is based in Valcourt, Québec.
