ZoomerMedia Limited has an immediate opening for an Associate Design Director to take a leadership role in the creation of print and digital marketing communications for our media properties, conferences and events.

You’ll join an exciting team of marketing and creative professionals and provide direction in design and graphics, serving the needs of internal clients in our Television, radio, magazine, digital, show and conference businesses, as well as select external clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Assumes responsibility for design and graphic production direction of all marketing communications elements.

•Acts as a strategic and conceptual leader on projects. Has an extensive understanding of all creative disciplines, including conceptual and executional

•Assists in the development of branding strategies for all ZoomerMedia Limited properties, and for the related marketing communications programs and campaign elements.

•Work with sales and business development teams to create presentations and campaigns for external clients, as needed.

•As part of our internal design studio and production resources. You will ensure concepts are executed to the highest standards while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

•Will be a creative resource, as needed, in other forms of communication (i.e. video, PR, sales promotion).

•Effectively communicate design and creative strategies to other internal stakeholders; be a valued resource who can respond to sales and marketing needs while also displaying creative leadership.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: 

•Degree in Communications, Graphic Design, Fine Arts or related field.

•Exceptional communication skills: Verbal, written, interpersonal and inter-departmental.

•Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience and an excellent portfolio.

•Proven record of success in leading creative teams.

•Experience with a wide range of creative product: ads, brochures, direct mail, digital (ad banners, e-mail, e-newsletters), sales promotion.

•Ability to provide creative and art direction for photo and video shoots.

•Ability to communicate effectively with people with a diverse range of experience, knowledge or understanding of the design process.

•Strong teamwork skills: ability to provide mature leadership in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
