Description

The Web-Project Manager accomplishes project objectives by developing and establishing project scope; designing and delivering solutions; leading and organizing team members, liaising with clients and end users and keeping projects on time and within budget. We are looking for a motivated, forward-thinking project manager to work with our team of web developers to bring projects from idea through launch for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a collaborative approach to leadership and problem solving, and to help improve processes and workflows.

This role’s duties include:

  • Initial Client Consultation
  • Ongoing Client Meetings
  • Sitemap Development
  • Wireframe Development
  • Scope-of-Work Development
  • Management of Project Details, Resources, Budget and Timelines

What you need for this position:

  • 2+ years designing, testing and executing web based projects
  • BS/BA – information technology, interactive, web development or related field
  • Proven project management experience and ability to lead web projects (in particular: web based business applications and eCommerce tools)
  • Solid internal and external communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Advanced knowledge of web site navigation, information architecture and usability
  • Excellent understanding of web design and development best practices
  • Strong organizational skills/sensitivity to deadlines
  • Ability to create and sustain client relationships
  • Understanding of and ability to follow marketing strategy lead on specific projects
  • Microsoft Office Skills
  • Previous experience in a formal QA role or environment would be ideal, but not required
  • Experience with WordPress or other CMS Systems a plus
  • Experience with eCommerce web projects a plus
  • Experience with Print Manufacturing a plus

What You’ll be doing

  • Conduct meetings with user groups and internal stake holders to gather, understand, and document product/service requirements.
  • Act as project manager maintaining continuous communication with key stakeholders and developers throughout development and the testing lifecycle to ensure final product meets requirements and expected outcomes.
  • Work with business owners to develop test case scenarios for functional enhancements.
  • Collaborate with business partners to discuss technical feasibility and best approach to innovative design and functionality proposals.
  • Maintain awareness of web technology standards and trends, and make recommendations around new implementations
  • Interface with account services leadership to facilitate client communication as needed during sales process as well as project development.
