Job description

Reporting to the Marketing Director, the Jr Graphic Designer provides comprehensive graphic design expertise for both digital and traditional media.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualization, development and execution of creative ideas
• Produce innovative and tasteful design projects that meet and exceed requirements
• Be able to work from a creative brief (written and verbal) and produce a design solution
• Present concepts to internal and external teams
• Verify accuracy of all work generated
• Completes projects by collaborating with people inside and outside the company when required.
• Maintain the Narrowcontent Inc. brand style guide

Qualifications:

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in graphic design
• 2-3 years graphic design experience with a focus on digital
• Good knowledge in design, layout, illustration, photography, and production process.
• Professional typography skills
•  Proficient in InDesign, Illustrator, PhotoShop, Image Ready
• Basic understanding of HTML and CSS; FTP experience (.sitx, .sit .sea, .zip)
• Ability to develop creative solutions to client requirements
• Ability to optimize images for web
• Ability to thrive in a busy, deadline driven environment
• Ability to be flexible and take a pro-active approach to projects
• Have and understanding of the latest design trends
• Knowledge of video production and editing an asset
