Looking for a talented designer and production artist with strong layout and graphic adaptation skills and a great attitude to join our team.

Position will initially be based in Etobicoke, but by August 2015 or sooner is expected to move to downtown Toronto (Queen / John area) for the majority of work hours.

You will be the perfect fit if you can think quickly, understand the importance of consistent branding and are adaptable to handling a range of small to mid-sized design projects.

You will be working primarily on point of purchase, sales collateral and retail print projects for clients in the beverage-alcohol space. You are adept at managing multiple projects from concept through production. You are comfortable working independently or within a team, and you are willing to pitch in where needed and become fluent in the requirements for the brands you are working with.

Role / Responsibilities:

• Help create & develop sales tools and sell sheets in a PowerPoint Environment (Must be a PowerPoint super star!)
• Resizing / Layout adjustments of Point-of-Sale materials
• Refining template based layouts
• Create and format in-office templates and presentations
• Photoshop Mock-ups
• Digital & Social Media Imagery
• Upload content to our national web portal
• Other items required as directed by the creative lead

Requirements:

• Diploma in Graphic Design from a registered College or University
• 1-2 Years Experience in an agency or in-house design role
• Experience interacting directly with end-clients
• High proficiency in Adobe InDesign / Illustrator / Photoshop
• High proficiency in MS PowerPoint
• Comfortable on both Windows and Mac
• Exceptional communication and problem solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Organized and detail oriented
• Comfortable incorporating French copy accurately into designs
• French Language skills would be an asset, but not required.
