Seeking a junior graphic designer to join a small design and branding studio located in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Our young, fast-growing studio works with a wide range of clients from the arts and culture sector, environmental sector, government and other areas we feel contribute positively to our community. We work with both local and national clients.

The ideal candidate will be able to both develop creative concepts and execute their ideas, taking them through to completion. Working collaboratively with other designers, the junior designer must be able to jump between web and print design with attention to detail and input on all aspects of the creative process. Great typography skills is a must.

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Graphic Design
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite in a Mac environment
• Knowledge of web design best practices and responsive design
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS and WordPress is an asset
• Familiar with design and production requirements of print media
• Able to meet deadlines and to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
• Demonstrate a strong knowledge of branding and contemporary design approaches

This is a one-year position for a recent graduate with possibility of extension into a permanent position. The chosen candidate will work from our Fredericton studio and must be either a New Brunswick resident or willing to relocate to New Brunswick.
