Who do we need?

Cosmic is on the hunt for a young and talented junior designer to join our growing team. As a junior designer with us, you’ll be committed to solving clients design dilemma’s through innovative problem solving and creative craftiness.

 

What can we offer you? 

We are an agency, made up young talented designers and although small we have some very well known clients. You can expect to work alongside our creatives on a number of different projects. We dip our toes into all kinds of advertising and creative services, like corporate branding, e-mail marketing, social media, motion graphics, web/mobile development, traditional print media, videography and even game/app development.

 

You should apply if:

• You have a degree or diploma in graphic or interactive design
•  At least 1+ years of working experience in an agency or studio setting (print & digital)
•  You have a solid working knowledge of the Creative Suite
  (Adobe CC including Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator)
• You are brimming with ingenious ideas, and innovation
• You are a visionary with a passion for design and typography
•  You have a keen eye and take a creative approach to problem solving
• You can make design decisions quickly and concisely
• You have razor-sharp attention to detail
• You are a dedicated team player with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Working knowledge of Flash Action script 2, Adobe After Effects or coding are an added bonus

 

Responsibilities: 

• Brainstorming and idea generation
• Take direction from Senior Designers and provide new ideas and  concepts
• Layout and design of both print and digital materials
• Creating digital designs for email blasts, social media, online & mobile advertising
• Creating print designs for print ads, brochures, signage, etc
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Excellent organization and communication skills
• Ability to see a project through to production (this includes prepping and • shipping files for external printing)
