We are a rapidly growing health supplement manufacturer at a great location on the lake in Cobourg, Ontario, and are looking for a full-time in-house (on-site) graphic designer.

Junior to Intermediate skills + experience.

Generally inspired by nature, culture, problem-solving.

Highly creative, big thinker. Intriguing approach to design. Strong thinking in your work will be more impressive than working on big brands.

Upbeat positive attitude, team player, able to work with other upbeat, positive people.

Quick worker, able to complete projects on a timely basis.

Huge attention to detail, paying attention to making sure work is laid out pixel-and-production perfect.

Able to work in both digital and print as well as artistic mediums to assist the design process where necessary/inspired

(example: pencil sketches, watercolour, charcoal, etc). You need to be artistically flexible.

Required Skill Sets:

Mac environment

Adobe Creative Suite

– Photoshop

– Illustrator

– InDesign

– motion, video or still photographic experience gets bonus points

Schooling is great. Solid real-world work experience is better. 

Production skills are a necessity. Coding skills are a bonus.

Types of projects you will/may do:

– print design (brochures, books, magazines, catalogues, etc)

– retail product packaging (label design, box design)

– website (including a new corporate site currently in progress)

– logo design

– banner advertisements

– social media advertisements, blogs, ebooks and emails

– infographics

– product imagery

– video sales letters

Even if you don’t know about a few of the above types of design, we can provide these learning opportunities.
