Matter and Form Inc. is a rapidly growing company delivering exciting solutions to the 3D marketplace. Our award-winning design delivered the world’s first easiest-to-use and affordable 3D scanner to the consumer and prosumer market. Now we’re adding to our team and looking for experienced, creative, dedicated people that can think problems through and design considered solutions.

We are looking for a web and graphic designer whose approach reflects the values of our company: innovative thinking, excellence and enthusiasm. You might be the right candidate if you believe in the future mass-appeal of 3D, if you’re comfortable with giving and receiving constructive criticism, not afraid of pushing your creativity to the limit, and often embrace an iterative approach to design.

Responsibilities:

• Creating promotional materials such as advertisements, product images, artwork for blog posts.
• Creating marketing materials that fit brand guidelines. These materials include business cards, flyers, banners, letterheads, etc.
• Creating wireframes, mock ups, and final artwork of software and web UI, and exporting the individual assets.
• Periodically design product packaging.
• Occasionally prepare graphics for internal use only. Pitch decks, etc.
• Exploring different directions for the brand on one-off– or side– projects.
• Travelling to conferences, and spreading the gospel of Matter and Form.
• Assist in compiling an evolving company style guide.

Qualifications:

• Have worked in both print and web.
• Working alongside and collaborating with other team members: designers, – copywriters, and managers.
• Know the appropriate export settings and formats to use when preparing assets for print vs. screen.
• Good organizational skills
• Familiar with Photoshop, Illustrator, and In Design.
• An understanding of user experience design and how to make the user happy.
• Familiarity with 3D applications and concepts a plus.
• Video skills also a plus.

Required experience:

• Must have a demonstrated expertise in web design, graphic design and associated applications.: 1 year
