Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Accurately produce mechanicals from Art Director’s layout or spec sheets for final production ensuring maximum quality and creative integrity.
• Produce materials for creative presentations – new business and internal projects.
• Complete type/layout changes through markups and copy decks
• Check artwork for completeness and assure adherence to standards
• Create appropriate mock-ups
• Resize creative in various sizes and orientations.
• Adhere to Studio and Agency processes.
• Complete miscellaneous request such as sourcing images and files.
• Pre-press and PDFX1A work flow an asset.
• Mounting, cutting
• Bonus if you are handy or have a fine arts background

Required Qualifications:

• Degree or diploma in graphics or print technology and production experience in an agency or similar corporate environment.
• Good design sensibilities: typography, hierarchy, colour theory.
• Must be detailed oriented with the ability to keep and maintain file structure.
• Must display flexibility and switch priorities on the fly.
• Willing to work flexible hours to meet challenging deadlines.
• Excellent focus and time management skills in a busy, loud, open concept work environment.
• Strong computer skills that include Adobe Creative Suite CC, Keynote, Microsoft Office, FTP software in a MAC OS environment.
• Understanding of print production sheet-fed, web and digital printing. This opportunity is for an everyday freelance position with the opportunity for full-time.
