Intermediate Graphic Designer

 

 

 

POSITION:   full-time

 

LOCATION: downtown Toronto

 

SALARY:     based on skill level and experience

 

 

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

–       Intermediate Graphic Designer for corporate in-house graphics department working on variety of digital and print projects

 

–       will work with Art Director/Sr Designer in studio to help produce creative concepts/designs for a range of print & digital/web marketing material

 

–       must be outgoing, confident and a real team-player

 

 

 

DUTIES:

 

–       support Design team to develop and produce designs for various print & digital collateral marketing material – ie brochures, newsletters, catalogues, ads, promotional pieces, etc

 

–       must have solid production skills to carry through designs, and produce files for print/digital and online projects

 

 

 

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

 

–       must have 2-3 years work experience in studio or agency

 

–       must possess excellent communications skills – position requires regular interaction with studio team, upper management and outside suppliers

 

–       STRONG Mac skills (OSX operating system) – InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop & Acrobat

 

–       Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite and Quark

 

–       effective time management skills with ability to prioritize effectively

 

–       strong ability to work with other members of team

 

–       must have excellent attitude with a “can do” approach
