Join a leader in the team uniform industry as a Junior/Intermediate Graphic Artist/Production Designer. Operating for over 50 years in Toronto, Athletic Knit has developed a great brand name in sporting goods. We are looking to expand our Graphic Design department with a team-oriented individual who is self-driven and ready to make an impact.

 

You will be joining a team where you will be focused on developing uniform designs and logos for teams in all sports. Once the concepts are finalized, you will be implementing your ideas into a final produced uniform.

 

Position Responsibilities;

·        Working closely with customer service reps to develop creative concepts based on customer requirements

·        Manage multiple projects and timelines.

·        Highly self-motivated, proactive, comfortable multitasking

·        Attention to detail is critical 

·        The creation of pre-production proofs adhering to our standards as well as the customers’ specifications for approval

·        Laying out final designs for production on templates.

·        Converting customers’ supplied artwork into a usable vector format

 

Qualifications;

·        College Diploma/Degree in Graphic Design

·        1-3 years of graphic design experience

·        Exceptional organizational, communication and multi-tasking abilities

·        A team player and capable to work independently

·        Attention to detail is critical

·        Expert knowledge of Illustrator CS6

·        Basic knowledge of Photoshop

 

Additional knowledge;

·        Basic knowledge of InDesign

·        Familiar with silk screening process
