Purpose of the Position:

Supporting our M&M frozen food client this position is responsible for conceptualizing and developing comprehensive electronic layouts for Flyers, Catalogues, POP material, newspaper ads and online materials. The incumbent will determine the text, artwork, colours. file types and formats to produce materials that are aligned with the customer’s requirements and company standards.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Prioritizing daily workflow to meet needs, tight deadlines and challenges while managing a high volume of various projects
• Flyer production, brochures, ads, signage and other various print and on-line materials
• Creating visuals which best illustrate the message to be communicated while providing a consistent look and feel for the brand.
• Ensuring the project is created to specification and produce proofs for approval.

Qualifications:

• Post-secondary diploma or degree (or work experience equivalent) in Graphic Design
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience as a Graphic Designer with both print and web experience
• Bilingual: French and English fluency
• Strong knowledge of Adobe CS6, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Dreamweaver on a Mac Operating System
• Solid knowledge of HTML
• Experience designing for digital environments (web, social media)
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
• Retail graphic design experience an asset
• Strong problem solving skills, ability to perform under pressure and demonstrated leadership skills
• Results-Oriented  with a truly positive attitude
• Must have a portfolio demonstrating both print and web talent and skills
